Day 4

Only had 10 hours of sleep today.  At first I thought this was a good thing and decided to head out to some friends place. That wasn’t the best of ideas. I almost pasted out twice on the way there. While I was there we watched Tank Girl, good movie, I kept blanking out and missing whole parts. I just couldn’t concentrate and it was like I wasn’t even there. I tried to watch Austin Powers, but it just kept getting worse so I went home.

I got about 20 feet away from the apartment building when I completely forgot where I was and where I was headed too, I had no sense of direction, nothing. I started walking that I was already headed and jumped on the bus I thought was going the right way. Thankfully I was walking in the right direction and I got on the right bus. Tomorrow I am getting my cell turned back on so I can call someone if I get myself lost again. That was extremely scary. I never want to do that again. So cell phone it is.

I have one more day before I have to go back to school. I have no idea how I am going to handle school. I should have delt with this before I went to school. Hell, I should have delt with this the last time I landed myself in emerg. for this. I am so pissed at myself for not doing it then. I know it is not my fault though, not only does the disease not want me to get better, but the psychiatrist that I was seeing was an idiot, not only did he not believe me, but the pills he prescribed me only made me worse. He told me that he thought *if* there was anything wrong with me; it *might* be Bipolar Afficiate (sp) Disorder. And yet he kept me on anti-depressants which only makes the hypomania worse and in turn makes the depression worse, horrible cycle and all that.

So I take my new anti-psychotics today. The label says “May cause drossiness”. What they should say is “knock you ass out bitch” With in 20 min I was out, no return no nothing. And such vivid dreams. Not nightmares like I normally have – but actual dreams. Happy, love filled dreams. I am not sure what they are doing for my waking life other them make me groggy sure like what they are doing for my sleep

They say money talks, and a new report suggests Canadian currency is indeed chatting, at least electronically, on behalf of shadowy spies.

Canadian coins containing tiny transmitters have mysteriously turned up in the pockets of at least three American contractors who visited Canada, says a branch of the U.S. Department of Defence.

Security experts believe the miniature devices could be used to track the movements of defence industry personnel dealing in sensitive military technology.

"You might want to know where the individual is going, what meetings the individual might be having and, above all, with whom," said David Harris, a former CSIS officer who consults on security matters.

"The more covert or clandestine the activity in which somebody might be involved, the more significant this kind of information could be."

The counter-intelligence office of the U.S. Defence Security Service cites the currency caper as an example of the methods international spies have recently tried to illicitly acquire military technology.

Nearly 1,000 'suspicious' contacts

The service's report, Technology Collection Trends in the U.S. Defence Industry, says foreign-hosted conventions, seminars and exhibits are popular venues for pilfering secrets.

The report is based on an analysis of 971 "suspicious contact reports" submitted in fiscal 2005 by security-cleared defence contractors and various official personnel.

"On at least three separate occasions between October 2005 and January 2006, cleared defence contractors' employees travelling through Canada have discovered radio frequency transmitters embedded in Canadian coins placed on their persons," the report says.

The report did not indicate what kinds of coins were involved. A service spokeswoman said details of the incidents were classified.

As a result, the type of transmitter in play — and its ultimate purpose — remain a mystery.

However, tiny tracking tags, known as RFIDs, are commonly placed in everything from clothing to key chains to help retailers track inventory.

Each tag contains a miniature antenna that beams a unique ID code to an electronic reader. The information can then be transferred by the reader into a computerized database.

Makes no sense

The likely need for such a reading device means the doctored coins could be used to track people only in a controlled setting, not over long distances, said Chris Mathers, a security consultant and former undercover RCMP officer.

"From a technology perspective, it makes no sense," he said. "To me it's very strange."

Then there's the obvious problem: what if the coin holder plunks the device into a pop machine?

"You give the guy something with a transmitter that he's going to spend — I mean, he might have it for an hour," Mathers said with a chuckle.

Harris speculates recent leaps in miniaturization could allow for a sophisticated transmitter capable of monitoring a target's extensive travels.

"I think we can be pretty darn confident that the technology is there for the sorts of micro-units that would be required to embed these things in a coin," he said.

"It's a brave new world, and greatly concerning on so many levels."

Passing the coin to an unwitting contractor, particularly in strife-torn countries, could mark the person for kidnapping or assassination, Harris said.

"You could almost, by handing a coin to somebody, achieve the equivalent of the Mafiosi's last kiss on the cheek."

The Defence Security Service report says employees of U.S. contractors reported suspicious contacts from individuals, firms or governments of more than 100 countries during the year.

Technologies that generated the most interest were information systems, lasers and optics, aeronautics and sensors.

A foreign approach often meant a simple request for information from the contractor.

Can contain built-in scanners

But the report also underscores clandestine means of acquiring secrets from U.S. employees, particularly those travelling abroad.

"It is important to recognize copiers and shredders can contain built-in scanners to copy the data."

Other common methods include placing listening devices in rooms, searching hotel rooms, inspecting electronic equipment and eavesdropping on conversations.

The report, which first came to light in a U.S. newspaper, has since been posted on the website of the Federation of American Scientists, an organization that tracks the intelligence world and promotes government openness.

So it ends up that I was not sick – I had just gone crazy. No really they took my blood and made me eat chicken with a spoon. And there was a guy who wanted his shoes back because they had taken his shoes. And there was a guy with 4 watches doing Thai-chi. The nurse wouldn’t come out of her office because she was afraid of the guy with no shoes.

After that I talked to a lady and there was a couch, then they took me into the other room, but it was the same couch.

So I was sent home with a prescription for pokemon pills.

Hopefully this time everything will work out.

Also I have decided that I am forever going to eat chicken with a spoon

 So yeah ummm – went to the pedo-rave last night to help out with the Vampire Freaks table. Let’s just say I am NEVER going back to an all ages rave EVER. I did have fun with Junie and Adam, and Amy and Eric and Suzie and Gualter and everyone else.

I got some drinks bought for me and danced a little once the most of the kiddies went home.

After the Dark Rave I went back to Amy and Erics with some other ppl.

Anyways here are some people.

Life is a gift. As sweet as the freshest peach, as precious as a gilded jewel. I have never been able to understand the logic of willfully surrendering such a treasure.

How dark can your existence be when compared to an eternal void? Unless, of course, you have faith that there is something beyond.

What do you see from where you stand? A bright light at the end of the tunnel? Is it a ray of hope? A glimmer of something better? Or will it burn you like the rising sun? Are you hearing the trumpeting of St. Peter's angels or the screams of Memnoch's tortured souls?

You can't really answer that, can you? Because you will never know the answer until after the deed is done. And is your faith really that strong?

I do not let anything that belongs to me go easily.  Should anyone?  Shouldn't the direst retribution be reserved for those who attempt to take what is yours?

....Property rights are the only rights that matter.  There are Ten Commandments, I've been told, in a currently popular upstart religion.  In order of appearance, 'Thou shalt not steal' ought to top the list.  It should be the only commandment.  What is murder but the theft of life? Adultery is theft of love.  Coveting your neighbor's belongings is a depraved anticipation of theft.  

These are the commandments of the Lord--a grasping and avaricious godling, but one who recognized that getting and keeping is what the human animal is really all about.  Not greed, but the need to have, hold, possess, is what drives us all.
